Key Responsibilities\n

  • Deliver evidence-based mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to clients' needs for stress reduction, relaxation, and overall mental wellness.

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and personal goals, ensuring individualized treatment plans that are adaptable to their evolving needs.

  • Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques, to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress alleviation.

  • Facilitate engaging group workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies that provide clients with tools for lifelong well-being.

  • Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and facilitating clients' personal growth journeys.

You will work primarily with adults seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and personal challenges. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
