MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST or MEDICAL ASSISTANT position with a private medical practice in Harrisonburg VA.

Please note. This is a Full-Time permanent position, working Monday through Friday, with approximate work hours of 8 AM to 5 PM.

You MUST have MEDICAL PRACTICE EXPERIENCE.
*** Experience as a Receptionist in a business office or hotel is NOT acceptable for this position.

This is a new position within the practice, to lead the implementation of a Medical Cell Phone App . They will train you. And when not working on this cell phone program, you will be tasked to do Medical Receptionist or other duties within the clinic(s).

Duties:
* Calling patients on the telephone (MUST A HAVE GOOD PHONE VOICE)
* Teaching patients how to use a medical cell phone APP
* Reviewing patient use of the cell phone APP
* Doing other duties as required by the employer

Candidate Must:
*** have a good employment history. So if you have NOT been working in the prior 6 months, do not apply.
* have a good work history without a lot short-term jobs.
* Preferred, that you graduated from a Medical Assistant school program
* have excellent communication skills (this job is 99% talking with patients)
* understand insurance verifications, prior-auths, and scheduling appointments
* have a positive attitude
* have a dependable car

Compensation is in the $19-21 per hour range. (plus retirement, PTO, and Health Insurance)
