Job Description
Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine

Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts, in accordance with unit policy regarding holidays and weekends.

Assignment Details

Opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team caring for diverse patient populations including Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure.

Requirements

• 2 years Med Surg experience
• Active NYS RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist patients in regaining independence through rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health management and rehabilitation processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
