EMT Position at Midwood EMS

Midwood EMS is seeking new and experienced EMTs with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work from our Bronx Base located in Westchester Square.

Qualifications of an EMT:

• Valid New York State EMT-Basic certification required
• New York State Driver's License preferred
• Any and all other requirements for the position as determined by the New York State Department of Health or other regulating agency or statute.

Duties & Responsibilities of an EMT:

• Provides Basic Life Support (BLS) in compliance with city, state, and organizational procedures
• Be helpful, friendly, and professional throughout all interactions with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
• Maintain a clean and fully stocked ambulance per NYS DOH requirements, restocking supplies at the end of each shift
