Patient Care Technician I, Full Time, Gastroenterology, Summit

Admin PCT

Support front and back office operations to maintain efficient patient flow. Assist with patient check in or check out when needed. Help coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow up visits. Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Support telephone triage workflows by routing messages appropriately. Assist with scanning, uploading, and organizing patient documents. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: 1. HS Diploma or equivalent 2. EMT certification and/or nursing assistant certification Preferred: 1. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written 2. Patient, compassionate nature 3. Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses 4. Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
