Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Newark Rehabilitation in Newark, Ohio. As a Respiratory Therapist with our organization, you will be part of a thriving community that is committed to providing comprehensive care that is tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients. Responsibilities:
Provide patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, including assessment, treatment, and education to patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilation therapy
Conduct respiratory tests and analyze data to inform treatment plans and make adjustments as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques, disease management, and self-care strategies
Requirements
Possess current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
