Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician

This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship and precision will directly contribute to high-quality metal fabrication products. Responsibilities: Operate plasma machine Read and interpret technical drawings, and work orders to fabricate sheet metal components Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, rollers, and punch presses Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions and tolerances Perform MIG, TIG, or spot welding as required for assembly and fabrication Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications Maintain and perform routine maintenance on fabrication machinery and tools Follow all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area Requirements: 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related manufacturing role Proficiency with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, and CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret duct drawings Experience with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or spot welding) is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment About Us: Consolitech International LLC is a trusted name in metal fabrication and manufacturing, proudly serving customers from our North Chesterfield, VA facility.
