JANITOR (FULL TIME)

We have an opening for full‑time JANITOR positions at 3M – Highway 71S, Nevada, MO 64772. The position is a full‑time night shift. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour. Applications are accepted online only. Job Summary Maintains clean and orderly facilities, performing heavy cleaning duties including floor, wall, window, and furniture cleaning, and waste control. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures. Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement. Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces and following the eight‑step cleaning procedure. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet. Contribute to the team, exhibiting professionalism with customers, colleagues, and others. Perform other duties as assigned.
