Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities Operate daily leasing team processes to deliver a luxury customer experience. Guide prospective residents through customized tours, recommending floor plans and local amenities. Follow up on all leads, providing tailored updates on floor plans, community events, and neighborhood highlights. Serve as a reliable resource for residents and colleagues, embodying AvalonBay’s commitment to integrity, caring, and continuous improvement. Be available on Saturdays, the busiest day for prospective residents, as required. Key Competencies Incredible customer service skills and a drive to create a spectacular experience for new residents. Strong sales and marketing ability, including the capacity to generate excitement through campaigns, outreach, and social media. Follow‑through on resident needs and updates. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 1–2 years of leasing or customer‑service experience, preferably in real‑estate or property management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with property‑management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
