Rollins St. Orlando FL 32803 **Unit Highlights:** + Our Children's Emergency Center has 16- dedicated Pediatric beds equipped with technology to care for a wide range of diagnosis. + Our dedicated Nursing staff provides high quality care for our little patients and align with ancillary departments to ensure safe and 'seamless' care. + We provide on-going support and education for our Nursing team to support their growth and development. + Come join a team that has been recognized for excellence in nursing by being awarded Magnet status and is honored by being 'a consistently high national ranking' for patient satisfaction and willingness to recommend our hospital to friends and family. + WE are perhaps even more proud to offer families a new concept in Emergency Department (ED) services, one that is scare-free and child-friendly. + Our nursing team participates in our Shared Leadership structure where they are part of the decision-making process for changes that impact their practice. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** + Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. + Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. + Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. + Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. + Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
