Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Goldsboro, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• 16-bed adult ICU within a hospital setting
• Manages critically ill adult patients, including ventilator-dependent and post-operative cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Average patient length of stay is 3–7 days
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current CPI-B certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support complex patient care, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by the patient care plan
