Inside Sales Associate

About the Role We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Houston, TX. The Inside Sales Associate supports the sales process by preparing quotations, coordinating customer requests, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, Field Relation Managers, and internal teams. This role is responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient handling of commercial and administrative activities that support customer satisfaction, sales execution, and order fulfillment. The Inside Sales Associate works closely with Sales and internal operational teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and orders are effectively managed from quotation through delivery. Responsibilities Prepare and process customer quotations based on information provided by Field Relation Managers and internal systems Ensure accuracy of pricing, product configuration, specifications, lead times, and required documentation before quotations are submitted Coordinate with internal teams to validate product availability, lead times, specifications, and other requirements Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding quotations, order status, shipping dates, and general inquiries Support Field Relation Managers with customer communication, administrative follow-up, and sales-related activities Track orders from quotation through delivery and ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational execution Proactively communicate order updates, delays, changes, or issues to customers and Field Relation Managers Maintain accurate and complete customer, quotation, order, and transaction information in the ERP system (Macola) Maintain proper documentation of customer interactions and transactions Generate standard reports and provide data and information requested by Sales and Management Follow established sales, quotation, order management, and internal control processes Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and support improvements to processes, tools, templates, and workflows Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, order administration, or a similar role Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Required Skills Experience working with ERP systems Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer-focused approach with strong follow-through and responsiveness Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sales and internal teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook Ability to learn product lines, internal systems, and processes quickly Preferred Skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Exposure to technical or engineered products Experience supporting Field Sales teams Experience with Macola or a similar ERP system Experience with quotation and order processing in a B2B environment Pay range and compensation package Job Type: Full-time About the Company Why Join Abnex?
