Antoine's Famous Cakes, located in Gretna, LA, is looking for a talented and dedicated Head Baker to lead our kitchen and help us continue creating the delicious treats our customers know and love. If you have at least one year of baking experience and a love for crafting exceptional baked goods, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Head Baker, you’ll be at the heart of our bakery operations. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:

• Overseeing the preparation and baking of a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards and are consistent with our recipes.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Training and mentoring junior staff to maintain efficiency and teamwork.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings both skill and passion to the table. Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of baking experience in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team effectively.
