Certified Medical Assistant (Temporary)

Position Overview ERP International, LLC is seeking a temporary Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position supporting Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA and surrounding clinics. ERP is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Disability and Veteran. Responsibilities Schedule: Monday – Friday 0600‑1600 – 8, 9 or 10 hour shifts depending on department needs. No holidays or weekends. Prepare examination rooms prior to patient arrival. Assist with patient check‑ins, admissions, discharges and transfers as directed. Check patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, blood pressure and pulse oximetry. Obtain and document patient’s current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form. Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered. Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms. Complete lab and x‑ray requisitions in accordance with clinic policies. Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check‑in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released. Qualifications Degree: Certificate Education: Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces. OR graduate from a program accredited by ACCSC, ACICS, ACCET, or ACCJC. Minimum six months of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation. Certified Medical Assistant (NHA or other formal certifying program). Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance. Possess a current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Pay Scale: $22.97 – $34.00 per hour, to be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
