Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate administrators.
Essential functions include:
- Ensuring policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and selecting employees to fill vacant positions.
- Conducting new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Participating in safety committee, conducting facility walk-through's identifying safety issues.
- Working with management and senior HR in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Assisting in investigations of employee relations issues.
- Responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Administering performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.
- Ensuring plant is FLSA compliant.
- Assisting management in union avoidance activities.
- Conducting training when requested.
- Investigating accidents and preparing reports for insurance carrier.
- Leading monthly "Listening Sessions" with employees.
- Entering new hire paperwork as well as status changes into HRIS system.
- Initial review and submission of payroll.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications:

- 6 years Experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
- 6 years Experience in position
- 4 years Experience managing people/projects

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field
