Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced OSP Fiber Installers for a contract to permanent opportunity, to help with the troubleshooting of fiber optic cable. The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Basic scope of work includes : Testing/Troubleshooting of Fiber optic cables. Knowledge of Telecom systems & wireless solutions. Experience working in confined spaces (Manholes), Aerial, etc.. Must have experience with installing & handling various fiber optic cable types including single mode & multimode. Skills Required: Experience working with pre terminated fiber trunks 1+ year(s) of experience in commercial Fiber Optic cabling Experience splicing ribbon and/or loose-tube fibers is a plus Experience with data center build-outs including cage builds, infrastructure and rack & equipment installs Experience with OTDR, OLTS, VFL & Fluke Testing equipment is a plus Ability to read and interpret Network Diagrams and/or detailed instructions About Us: At Anistar Technologies, we connect individuals from a variety of industries with respected companies, both nationally and internationally.
