Responsibilities of Cook:
- Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes.
- Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and assure that all foods meet required serving temperatures.
- Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
- Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.
Qualifications of Cook:
- Previous experience as a cook in a nursing and rehabilitation facility preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of quantity cooking.
