Role Description The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Midland, Texas. This position manages residential and commercial real estate escrow files from opening through post-closing, including preparing and reviewing closing documents, balancing files, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The Escrow Officer coordinates with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, and attorneys to schedule and facilitate closings, explain documents, collect and disburse funds, and resolve issues that may arise. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, reviewing title commitments and related documentation, providing responsive customer service, and supporting a smooth, timely closing experience for all parties. Qualifications Strong knowledge of escrow processes with experience managing escrow files from opening through closing. Demonstrated experience handling residential real estate closings. Current Notary commission or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work professionally with a wide range of clients and industry partners. Experience in residential real estate or title insurance. High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to interpret real estate, title, and loan documents and follow applicable regulatory and company requirements. Proficiency with closing and title software systems and standard office applications. Prior experience as an Escrow Officer is required.
