Temporary Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant | Interim Austin, TX | Onsite Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support financial reporting, account analysis, budgeting, and month-end close activities during a transitional period. Responsibilities: Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules. Manage asset-related accounting and reporting activities. Analyze operating expenses, budgets, and spending trends. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies. Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements. Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience. Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience supporting regulated industries.
