Senior Medical Assistant - Orthopedics

Under general supervision of the LVN Supervisor, Site Manager and or Radiology Manager this position will assists physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties as a Medical Assistant within the scope of practice. As the limited X-ray Technician perform diagnostic x-rays within their licensure for patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the direction of the radiologist; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel. The limited x-ray technician is also responsible for all duties relating to the darkroom. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years of Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast

paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion. Preferred qualifications: * Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) or * Coursework/Training: Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces or * Coursework/Training: Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months * National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
