Civil Engineer With Geotechnical FocusVerdantas is seeking a Civil Engineer with a geotechnical focus in Fort Worth, Texas, to support field-intensive projects through data collection, site inspections, and technical design. This role includes preparing health and safety plans, analyzing field and lab data, and assisting with cost estimates and documentation. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter eager to grow in a dynamic, travel-heavy consulting environment.What You'll Do:Prepare or assist with preparation of health and safety plans, and implements health and safety plans, including client specific requirements and documentation such as forms, job safety analysis (JSAs), etcCollect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing and other methodsAssist in preparing detailed plans and technical specificationsPerform computations and process data using computer software or other established methodsAssist in preparing cost estimates for design implementationPerform other engineering related tasks for projects (i.e. designs, drawing, site inspections etc.) under the supervision of senior engineersAble to travel 90% of the timeWhat You Bring:B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)0- 2 years of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experienceAbility to speak and write professionallyHighly motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionallyE.I.T. strongly preferredSalary Range:$60,000 to $65,000Benefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
