WesleyLife's Meals on Wheels program delivers hot meals Monday through Friday, with the option of frozen meals for flexible enjoyment. Beyond delivering meals, our dedicated team of drivers and volunteers serve as vital connections, providing a lifeline and support in case of medical emergencies. This service ensures not only nourishment but also companionship and safety for participants.

A Day in the Life as a Driver with WesleyLife at Home/Meals on Wheels:

• Safely drive a WesleyLife vehicle to deliver meals to clients on a set route in Polk or Dallas County, regardless of weather conditions.
• Ensure timely and accurate meal delivery to each client.
• Follow all safe food handling practices.
• Build relationships with clients by providing personal contact and reporting any changes in their condition or emergencies in the home.

Open Shifts Available: PRN (As Needed) Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Qualifications

Experience

Basic computer and smart phone skills required Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions. Must have a good motor vehicle driving record. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to walk considerable distance in all weather conditions on all terrain and climb stairs. The ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
