Controller Location: Central New Jersey Compensation: $215,000+ DOE + Full Benefits Schedule: Full-Time, In-Office A well-established pharmaceutical distribution company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and finance operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for a strong financial professional who can oversee day-to-day accounting functions, drive process improvements, and manage a team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes. Lead and mentor the AP, AR, and Collections teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and industry regulations. Prepare and review financial statements and management reports. Monitor receivables, collections, and working capital to support business objectives. Develop and improve accounting procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and operational decision-making. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and relationships with external accountants and financial partners. Qualifications Strong Controller experience required, preferably within distribution, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or product-based industries. Proven experience managing accounting teams, including AP, AR, and Collections. Deep understanding of financial reporting, controls, cash management, and operational accounting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. CPA is a plus but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Poel Group Staffing Inc.
