Casual Sales Ambassador - Glendale Galleria

Location: Glendale, California, United States Weekly: 4-19 hours Responsibilities Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals, taking ownership of results and working to grow contribution to overall sales. Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world‑class experience to every customer, connecting and identifying needs by listening attentively and asking open‑ended questions, demonstrating product benefits and seeking opportunities to improve the customer’s day. Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush’s values—Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging—articulating them in the shop and through community engagement. Product Passion: Continually expand product knowledge, staying up‑to‑date on ingredients and benefits to make informed recommendations for each customer. Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, supporting team growth and increasing sales, while seeking feedback and opportunities for improvement. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication and listen to employee perspectives on DEIB, fostering teamwork and recognizing unique contributions. Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present; take breaks as needed and stay informed of company updates. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Apply visual merchandising guidelines to adjust product displays in real time based on sales to improve experience. Policies and Procedures: Follow company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Qualifications Required: Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays NOTE: Candidates under 18 selected will be employed on a contract basis through the Lush Youth Employment Program in line with local regulations.
