Our team consists of experienced professionals including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to providing individualized, supportive care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Carlin, Nevada, where we prioritize a patient-centered approach in a collaborative atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, needs, and functional limitations, developing tailored treatment plans to guide their rehabilitation journey.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, delivering personalized and effective physical therapy interventions based on orthopedic principles.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques that promote motion and mobility, ensuring evidence-based practices are at the forefront of your delivery of care.
• Reduce reliance on medications and provide conservative alternatives to surgical interventions through proper patient education and exercising techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs to empower patients, enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of care and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient management and optimal multidisciplinary support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as those looking to enhance their functional mobility. Our clientele varies from athletes to the elderly, each requiring specialized care tailored to their unique conditions and goals. Your role will involve creating an environment that motivates and educates patients while fostering recovery and improvement in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Nevada Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary actions or board actions on record.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in a wide array of exercise techniques.
• Competency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documenting patient care and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Proven track record of providing high-quality patient-focused care, with successful patient outcomes in rehabilitation and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
