About the Role \n

Big Drop is looking for an experienced, fashion-forward Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Miami team— someone who is both a sales driver and an operational backbone.

\n

The ideal candidate is confident, energetic, proactive, and genuinely passionate about operations, people, and sales.

Primary Responsibilities \n

\n
• Act as second-in-command to the Store Manager and lead the team on the floor
\n
• Open and close the store with full responsibility for cash, key control, and end-of-day reporting
\n
• Oversee visual merchandising, replenishment, and floor readiness daily
\n
• Coordinate tailor drop-offs/pickups, dry clean outbound and returns, and quality checks on receipt
\n
• Oversee transfers, receiving, tagging, steaming, and back-stock organization
\n
• Support inventory control - On Hand checks, discrepancies, RTV/RA/SWAP follow-through
\n
• Ensure adherence to all loss prevention and high-value handling procedures
\n
• Resolve escalated client issues with professionalism and discretion
\n
• Drive and exceed individual KPI goals, by ensuring the highest level of Customer Service and quality of sales.
\n
• Apply a strong understanding of business acumen to drive the business and help build long-term solutions.
\n
• Deliver an elevated client experience acting as a brand ambassador- embody brand values and engage customers on the brand to ensure long lasting relationships.
\n
• Confidently style clients from head to toe and provide honest, knowledgeable recommendations regarding fit, styling, and product selection- understanding each client’s style, body, lifestyle, preferences, and upcoming needs.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong personal client book through thoughtful outreach, follow-up, styling appointments, new-arrival communication, and remote selling.
\n
• Develop lasting client relationships that drive repeat business, customer retention, and loyalty to Big Drop.
\n
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Big Drop’s designers, new arrivals, best sellers, product fit, current fashion trends, and available inventory.
\n
• Lead by example on the sales floor and help create an energetic, motivated, accountable, and results-driven sales culture.
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first attitude by stepping in wherever needed to support the client, the team, and the success of the store.
\n
• Full availability for weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods is a non-negotiable for this position.
\n

Qualifications and Experience \n

\n
• Minimum of 3+ years of retail sales experience, preferably within contemporary, premium, designer, or luxury fashion.
\n
• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Key Holder, or in another retail leadership position strongly preferred.
\n
• Proven ability to meet and exceed individual sales goals.
\n
• Strong clienteling experience with the ability to build and maintain meaningful customer relationships.
\n
• A proactive and confident sales approach with the ability to initiate conversations, recommend products, overcome objections, and close sales.
\n
• Organized, accountable, and solutions-oriented under pressure
\n
• Natural leader who models pace, tone, and high standards for the team, leading by example
\n
• Clear communicator; comfortable juggling both sales and operations in tandem
\n
• Strong fashion sense and an understanding of styling, garment fit, different body types, designers, and current trends.
\n
• Able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
\n
• Must have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak retail periods.
\n
