Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing psychological assessments, interventions, and crisis support in school settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and related educational laws and practices
• Compassionate, creative, and adaptable approach to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed
• Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical guidelines
• Stay current with best practices and professional development in school psychology
