We are seeking a highly experienced QuadraMed Data Extraction Expert to support a critical legacy data extraction initiative as part of a broader archival, compliance, and data migration program. This role requires deep technical knowledge of the QuadraMed EHR platform, including the UltiView interface, built-in report writer, and native extraction utilities, combined with experience working within complex hospital systems. The resource will be responsible for establishing the technical infrastructure required for extraction, performing validated data extractions across multiple clinical and operational domains, and ensuring all extracted data meets healthcare compliance, audit, and archival standards. This is a highly specialized role requiring both technical extraction expertise and deep system familiarity with QuadraMed architecture and data structures.

Core Responsibilities:

• QuadraMed Data Extraction
• Lead the extraction of structured and validated data from the QuadraMed system using native utilities and reporting tools.
• Perform large-scale data extractions across core QuadraMed domains including Patients, Visits, and Clinical Results.
• Utilize the UltiView interface and built-in report writer tools to extract structured datasets.
• Configure and execute QuadraMed native extraction utilities.
• Validate extracted data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support extraction of both historical and operational clinical records.
• Ensure proper mapping of extracted data elements to downstream archival or migration targets.
• Technical Infrastructure Readiness
• Confirm access to the QuadraMed application environment.
• Validate functionality of UltiView interfaces and reporting tools.
• Ensure access to compatible versions of QuadraMed extraction utilities.
• Confirm connectivity between application systems and extraction environments.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to resolve technical dependencies.
• System Access and Tool Configuration
• Application-level access to QuadraMed through the UltiView interface.
• Access to the internal report writer functionality.
• Access to the native QuadraMed extraction utilities.
• Read/write permissions to UNIX directories used for staging extraction output files.
• VPN access and network credentials to securely access healthcare systems.
• Access to network storage environments used to house interim and final extraction datasets.
• Data Validation and Testing
• Validate extracted patient records against source system records.
• Perform chart review validation where required.
• Review patient and visit history data for completeness.
• Validate extraction results against audit trails and historical system activity logs.
• Support end-to-end testing of extracted datasets when required.
• Data Handling and Storage Management
• Manage storage capacity for interim extraction files.
• Ensure secure transfer of extraction outputs to staging environments.
• Organize structured output files for downstream ingestion or archival.
• Monitor disk utilization during extraction operations.
• Support secure transmission of files to downstream processing environments.
• Collaboration with Technical and Implementation Teams
• Participate in technical coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Assist in defining extraction strategies and sequencing.
• Communicate technical dependencies and risks.
• Provide guidance on QuadraMed data structures and system limitations.
• Support troubleshooting of extraction issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep expertise with the QuadraMed EHR platform.
• Hands-on experience using the UltiView interface.
• Experience using QuadraMed's built-in report writer functionality.
• Experience executing QuadraMed native extraction utilities.
• Experience extracting healthcare data across Patients, Visits, and Results domains.
• Experience validating healthcare data extractions.
• Experience working with large clinical datasets.
• Experience working within healthcare compliance environments.
• Strong understanding of patient record structures and healthcare data relationships.

• Prior experience supporting large healthcare systems.
• Prior experience working on legacy data archival projects.
