Commissioning Technician

Position Summary The OMR Hardware Commissioning Technician supports Mobile Robotics (OMR) operations by performing precision installation, modification, and removal activities on robotic systems and existing infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical work including drilling, magnet installation, epoxy application, and removal of legacy components. The technician works in a structured operational environment and must adhere to strict safety, quality, and operational standards while utilizing power and hand tools. Key Responsibilities Drill holes into existing surfaces according to engineering specifications and safety guidelines Install magnets with precision and consistency Apply epoxy materials and finish surfaces flush with surrounding structures Remove detents, legacy systems, and obsolete hardware Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and vacuum equipment Perform surface preparation, cleanup, and debris removal Follow detailed work instructions, documentation, and quality standards Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project personnel Maintain reliable attendance and complete work within scheduled timelines Support additional operational tasks as assigned Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Stand, kneel, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods Frequent use of hands and arms for drilling and installation tasks Comfortable working in environments with noise, dust, and industrial equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr ICON Consultants, LP
