About the Role GummyWorks is seeking a motivated Junior Formulator to join our Research & Development team. This position will support formulation development, product testing, manufacturing trials, and technical documentation while working closely with senior formulators and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in nutraceutical product development and gain hands‑on experience in gummy manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Formulation Support Assist in the development and optimization of gummy formulations containing vitamins, minerals, botanicals, proteins, creatine, and other functional ingredients. Prepare bench‑top samples and prototypes for evaluation. Support ingredient weighing, batching, and trial preparation. Assist with sensory evaluations, texture analysis, and product testing. Manufacturing & Scale‑Up Support Participate in pilot and commercial production trials. Assist with collecting data during manufacturing runs. Help troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges. Work closely with Production and Quality teams to support successful product launches. Documentation & Compliance Maintain formulation records, batch sheets, and technical documentation. Assist with ingredient specifications and product information. Support regulatory and quality teams with documentation as needed. Follow GMP and food safety requirements. Research new ingredients, market trends, and formulation technologies. Assist with evaluating new raw materials and suppliers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 0–3 years of experience in food, nutraceutical, confectionery, or supplement manufacturing. Internship or laboratory experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
