Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Specialty: ULTRA ECHO) in GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado. This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams to assist in patient diagnosis. The role requires evaluating internal organs and vessels, preparing patients, ensuring quality imaging, and documenting findings accurately to support physician assessments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 40 hours per week; 4x10 hour day shifts; share on-call obligations on nights, weekends, and holidays (requires 30-minute response time)
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; one or more years of experience in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography); certification through ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or through CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in a related field
• Additional Information: Performs a variety of diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures. Prepares exam rooms, obtains patient history, and explains procedures. Assesses patient status, ensures quality images, documents thoroughly, and communicates effectively with patients and clinical teams. Maintains equipment safety, stocks supplies, transports patients, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for on-call duties.
