Programmer/Developer Lead- Software Testing - SYLMAR, CA Contract IT Overview Role: Programmer/Developer Lead- Software Testing Location: SYLMAR, CA Duration: 6+ Months BGV will be done for the selected candidates. Responsibilities Proven working experience in software development Working experience in medical device industry A deep familiarity with software testing life cycle 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing Very good understanding of C#. Should be able to understand and debug the scripts written in C# Familiarity with defect tracking tool like ClearQuest Familiarity with version control tools like ClearCase, Accurev, Team Concert Basic knowledge of Linux Very good understanding and working experience with MS Office The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines The ability to work in a team and as an individual Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team spirit with a ‘can do’ attitude – you enjoy testing, documenting and resolving software issues Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Responsibilities (Continued) Test design and test scripting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software features and test designs Conduct functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing.
