Registered Nurse ED

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, focusing on safe, evidence-based nursing practices to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assess, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans, accurately documenting clinical findings in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR). Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery, communication, and continuity. Administer treatments and physician orders, supporting discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and safety standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program or hold an active RN license in Texas or through multi-state licensure (Nurse Licensure Compact). Current BLS certification, and within 6 months, obtain Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification. Preferred: 1 year of emergency department experience.
