ICU Relief Technician

Provides technical support to clinical faculty and senior veterinary students in the ICU section of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Performs critical care nursing procedures in the Intensive Care Unit as directed by clinical faculty and instructs senior veterinary students in technical and manipulative skills relating to ICU/Critical Care.

Licensed or Licensed eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Veterinary Technician (LVT); Working knowledge of basic nursing skills; ability to place intravenous catheters; ability to understand instructions; excellent communications and interpersonal skills; rabies prophylaxis will be required (provided by employer).

Pay Band 4; wage

The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
