TIDAL HEALTH ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Local Radius: Client does not accept local candidates and has a 100-mile radius restriction.
- Call-Off Policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 12 hours per 13 week assignment.
- Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation. Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.

General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Caring for obstetrical patients antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum. Immediate PACU recovery of patients post c-section (No circulating required). Providing immediate care of the newborn

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Epic EMR, Pericalm fetal monitoring surveillance, Omnicell medication dispensing system,


Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2 years preferably, 1 yr minimum


Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, NRP. MD or compact state RN license.


Shift or schedule requirements.
12 hour shifts. On call shift averages 12hrs/4wks, weekends required (usually every 3rd, but up to every other)


Floating to other units/departments.
If census low on LD potential for floating on postpartum unit. No floating outside OB.


Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
13 labor beds, 3 triage rooms, 2 ORs. Avg 170 deliveries per month


Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
1-2:1

Dress Code:
Hospital provided scrubs


Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
usually 3 shifts of orientation with a preceptor on the unit after going through a week of general hospital orientation
