Travel We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Plainfield, NJ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active New Jersey COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising OTR and document patient progress according to facility policy. Client requirement: scheduled to work a 5x8 day pattern with typical hours of 08:30–16:30 and a 30-minute meal period. Client preference: experience with geriatric populations and common SNF equipment such as adaptive seating, orthotic devices, and ADL training tools preferred.
