Rooter Hero is Hiring a Office Coordinator/Payroll Clerk

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $23-27 hourly

OBJECTIVE: To effectively assist Operations Manager in profit center with daily office and clerical duties.

About the Role

In this role, you will act as the vital link between our customers our field technicians and paperwork. You assist the Operations Manager. We’re not looking for someone who just answers phones and pushes paperwork.

We’re looking for an ORGANIZER who can keep technicians moving, money accounted for, vehicles organized, and the operation running like a machine.

This is a KEY position

You’ll be the person helping keep the field and office connected .

When technicians need something, you help make it happen.

When paperwork needs to be handled, you handle it.

When timesheets need to be right, you make sure they're right.

When technicians need to be dispatched, you keep them moving.

When company assets need to be tracked, you know where they are.

You don't wait for problems to find you - you stay ahead of them

What you will own

• Assist in dispatching technicians and keep the schedule running efficiently
• Collect verify and process technician timesheets
• Collect and organize technician receipts
• Create and issue Purchase Orders
• Assist with collections and account follow-up
• Follow up on open jobs, delays, or reschedules
• Document notes accurately and quickly

What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for an organized, clear communicator who can keep a cool head when the day gets busy.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience using Service Titan
• Comfort using computers and scheduling software, with the ability to learn new digital platforms quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional phone presence.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize urgent requests, and adapt to changing schedules on the fly.

• Prior knowledge of plumbing systems and basic terminology.
