Corporate Franchise Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Franchise Associate with two to five years of experience to join its office in Royal Oak, MI. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to client representation and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic legal environment. Duties Draft and update Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs). Prepare franchise agreements and related ancillary documents. Handle franchise registration and renewal filings. Respond to state comment letters. Advise clients on franchise compliance and operational issues. Requirements 2-5 years of experience in franchise law or corporate transactional practice. Knowledge of federal and state franchise laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a deadline‑driven environment. Education and Certifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan. Skills Proficiency in drafting legal documents. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills.
