Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Position: Quality Assurance Specialist Sr

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ

Ability to work remote: No - fully in office.

Acceptable time zone(s): EST

Days of the week: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: Flexible - typically 8 am start

Intended length of Assignment: Through 6/7/2027

Contract to hire W2

Function of the Group: Revenue and cost savings

Industry background: Finance or Banking is a plus

Team Dynamic: working within an agile QA test team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and conduct API requests, collections, and environments in Postman for validation and assertions.
• Collaborate with developers, QEs, and POs to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• API Testing
• Automation
• Proficiency in Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDE.
• Proficiency using version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket.
• Strong understanding of test data validation.
• Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and reporting.
• Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Experience with Junit or Karate
• MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL for test data validation.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills both written and Verbal
• Develops clear documentation to ensure transparency and auditability

Education/Certifications: Bachelors required.
