Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineers (St. Petersburg, FL) Responsibilities Design and develop orthopedic surgery tools that extract medical implants pertaining to total hip revision and other joint surgeries, applying principles of mechanical design, machine design, kinematics and dynamics, and applied FEA (finite element analysis). Create technical drawings and schematics of tool designs using SolidWorks and mechanics of solids. Test and evaluate designs and finished products to ensure safety and durability using mechanical manufacturing processes. Attend and represent the company at medical device tradeshows and orthopedic conferences. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Skills and knowledge in SolidWorks, machine design, kinematics & dynamics, applied FEA, mechanics of solids, and mechanical manufacturing processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
