Production Operator

Production OperatorThe basic function of the Production Operator is to perform duties necessary to accomplish production in a safe, quality driven and efficient manner.Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):Maintain adherence to all safety guidelines.Ensure customer satisfaction through the active promotion of MAC Quality Policy.Strictly follow current Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, One Point Lessons, authorized forms and other applicable documentation.Meet or exceed all quality standards.Actively participate in 5S and housekeeping activities to achieve and maintain expectations.Maintain equipment through proper Preventative Maintenance measures as applicable.Complete assigned work in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.Prepare all required documentation accurately and on time.Maintain sufficient training on multiple operations to enhance the flexibility of the Production Department.Promote continual improvement and cost saving opportunities.Maintain prompt and effective communication to assure MAC success.Work under minimal supervision.Work within the guidelines and expectations of MAC Policies and Procedures.Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.Continuously demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.Qualifications:High School graduate.Able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds on a somewhat repetitive basis.Able to bend, stoop, and reach on a somewhat repetitive basis.Able to use and operate tools and equipment consistent with the assigned job.Able to produce and inspect parts with conform to product and quality specifications.Able to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed; at times this will be necessary on short notice as business conditions change.Technical Competencies:Able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Good math skills.Non-Technical Competencies:Good communication skills (verbal, listening)Results-oriented and takes ownershipHL Mando is committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
