API Security Program Manager

Insight Global is looking for an API Security Program Manager to work within the Network Security and Application Engineering organization. This person will be tasked with helping to stand up a API Security Program within MSK enterprise wide. This person will be response for over-seeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of API security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. They will be responsible for developing and enforcing API security policies and standards for the design, development, and deployment of APIS to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data. This person will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on API security program updates and initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years of experience in a Program / Product Manager role within the API Security Space
Experience helping stand up an API Security Program
Understanding Risk Assessments
Development of new policies and understanding on enterprise-wide impact
Experience supporting, coordinating, communicating and API Development teams
**candidate who has transitioned from network / engineering background, so they are able to work closely with the engineering teams**
