Registered Dietitian

Job Summary And Qualifications We are currently seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will coordinate all phases of nutrition care including assessment, planning, monitoring, education, and counseling for hospitalized patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. You will also support performance improvement plans and regulatory requirements. The role requires dedication to patient care. What you will do in this role Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in planning and organizing the nutritional care of patients. Assess patient nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and develop and implement dietary care plans, providing nutritional counseling. Develop measurable short- and long-term nutritional goals and evaluate outcomes. Ensure accurate calculation of nutritional needs based upon individual therapeutic requirements. Maintain timely, accurate documentation in medical records in accordance with PCD guidelines. Monitor and inspect meal service for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance. Participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve outcomes and overall patient experience. Contribute to a culture of patient-centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or a comparable major.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian in an acute care environment OR successful completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship of at least 900 hours under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) by the Florida Board of Dietetics and Nutrition; Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Candidates eligible for registration may be hired with the understanding that registration will be achieved within 90 days of hire.
