Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,038–$2,249 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3x12s Start date: 11/08/2026 Location: Kansas City, KS Work setting: Hospital operating room Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care for ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps), neuro (e.g., burr holes, craniotomy), and surgical oncology (robotics) cases throughout the intraoperative period. Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrument counts, and manage equipment setup and turnover between cases. Monitor patient status intraoperatively, communicate changes to the surgical team, and ensure patient safety, airway management, and hemodynamic stability. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR staff to optimize patient outcomes and smooth workflow. Document intraoperative events and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EPIC) per policy; adhere to AHA BLS guidelines and facility protocols.
