Salary: $20.00 / hour Production Line Worker Pay: $20.00 / hour Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Hillsboro, OR #hill1940 About the Company: Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a leading manufacturing company to find top talent for multiple Production team member positions. These are exciting long-term opportunities to support a Hillsboro, OR baseball bat manufacturing company. Job Description:- Responsible for control of work pace, meeting production goals and quality standards
- Conducting calibration of machine(s) prior to use and reporting scrap and machine issues in real time
- Ensuring inventory is handled properly
- Reporting safety issues and providing ideas for ways to improve safety in work area
- Outstanding work history demonstrating longevity in positions; prior manufacturing or production experience in high demand
- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in basic-intermediate math, ability to read and interpret engineering spec sheets and drawings a plus, and utilize a tape measure and calipers/micrometers preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate well with confidence both verbally and through writing skills; a positive attitude is essential for success with this organization
- Highly energetic and passionate approach to work with ambition/drive to grow and learn new things
- Superior work ethic and strong attendance are required
