Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the bending sequence. Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends. Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials. Monitor the product process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations. Keep accurate records of production data and work performed. Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors to verify dimensions. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience setting up/running a brake press. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors. Ability to program and adjust CNC controls for accurate bending and forming. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
