Entry-Level Construction Technician

Job Description As a Construction Technician, you will perform various types of construction observation and staking. You will assist with geotechnical and construction materials testing, inspections, and field or laboratory testing for various projects. As an integral team member, you’ll gather project information, review work progress, and prepare construction progress reports. You will document your findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders, facilitating informed decision‑making and maintaining the structural integrity and safety of construction projects. You will travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions This position includes: The use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sites. Applicable PPE (personal protective equipment) provided. Prescription safety eyewear and work boot reimbursement program. Company issued laptop. Cell phone reimbursement options. Qualifications You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others. Having ownership in the work you do. Using your talents to positively affect communities. You bring to the team: Strong communication skills. Ability to contribute and work well on a team. Associate’s degree in a construction related field preferred. 0-3 years of experience in the construction observation or construction inspection field. Interest in construction inspection and survey. Interpersonal, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Validdriver’s license and agood driving history. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
