Physical Therapist – Acute Care / Inpatient Rehabilitation

We seek a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This acute care role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients recover from surgery, illness, or injury. You will be part of a collaborative clinical environment that values evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary coordination, and patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, improve function, and promote independence.
• Deliver comprehensive care using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and mobility training.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader rehabilitation team to ensure integrated and efficient patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies and discharge planning.
• Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment modifications.
• Provide support with adaptive equipment and mobility aids, including walkers, wheelchairs, and prosthetics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Iowa.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience in inpatient or acute care is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
