Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team in Eugene, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, one-on-one care while working with primarily outpatient orthopedic patients. Both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced Physical Therapists looking for greater clinical autonomy are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour days
• Four 9-hour days with a half-day on the fifth day
• Three days from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM and two days from 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
• Additional flexibility based on clinic and team needs
• No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat primarily outpatient orthopedic patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
• Provide one-on-one, 45-minute treatment sessions
• Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, patient education, and appropriate treatment techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Progress patients toward functional and meaningful outcomes
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery, and long-term wellness
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, PTAs, and other rehabilitation/wellness professionals
• Maintain continuity of care when collaborating with PTAs
• Contribute clinical knowledge and ideas to the team
• Develop programs based on areas of clinical interest
• Participate in student mentoring opportunities once eligible

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon Physical Therapy license or eligibility for Oregon licensure
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent Physical Therapy degree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care
• Interest in continued clinical and professional development

Preferred but not required:

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Sports medicine experience
• Pelvic health experience or interest in developing this specialty
