Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the diverse mental health needs of your clients, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and intervene promptly with appropriate strategies for issues such as anxiety, depression, or stress-related concerns.

Provide crisis intervention as necessary, delivering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress, thereby promoting effective coping strategies.

Maintain ongoing therapeutic relationships with clients dealing with mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders, ensuring continuity of care through regular follow-ups.

Facilitate family therapy sessions to address relational issues, destructive behavioral patterns, and overall family dynamics.

Your primary focus will involve working with a diverse client base, including students and their families who face a variety of mental health challenges. The community we serve includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those struggling with substance use disorders. Your expertise will enable you to foster resilience and emotional well-being, guiding clients toward achieving their personal and academic goals.

Must possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.

A current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required to practice in Oregon.

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is essential.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are a must to effectively engage with clients and colleagues alike.

The ability to develop strong, collaborative, and empathetic relationships with clients, fostering a sense of trust and safety.

Experience in school-based counseling or working with adolescent clients is highly desirable.
